Kim Kallstrom has revealed that he would be willing to leave Lyon for Premier League side Everton.

The Toffees are yet to draw up a shortlist of summer transfer targets, but will be pleased to hear that they have become a big draw for players on the continent.

Swedish international Kallstrom joined Ligue 1 champions Lyon after the 2006 World Cup finals and has made 60 appearances at Stade Gerland, scoring seven goals.

He admits that he has received no contact concerning a potential move to Goodison Park, but has made it clear that he would be interested in making such a switch should the opportunity arise following this summer's European Championships.

Great club

"Maybe, it's a great championship so why not?" he said in the Liverpool Echo.

"But at the moment I'm concentrating on playing in France. Lyon is a great club and I hope I stay there for a long time.

"It's the first time I've heard anything about it (Everton's interest) so I don't know actually. But why not? Why not?

"It's a great club that plays at the top of the Premier League so why not? You never know, we'll see in the summer after the Euros."
