Stojkovic: Unhappy with rumours

Vladimir Stojkovic has denied suggestions that he walked out on Everton just one hour into his trial at Goodison Park.

Everton set up a trial for the Sporting Lisbon keeper as they look to bring in some cover for No.1 Tim Howard.

However, the Toffees reportedly claimed the trial was cut short and that the player left without any contact just an hour following his arrival.

Stojkovic has hit back at the claims saying the trial spell went fine.

"I'm not a trouble maker," Stojkovic told Antenna One. "Everything went fine, I didn't have any problem.

"I stayed there for three days, trained three times, once with the goalkeeping coach and twice with the rest of the team, and the coach praised me.

Wrong

"What I've read in the Portuguese press is wrong. I'm not someone who creates problems.

"Let's make things clear, Sporting are my club. I never had any problem with coaches and with everybody I've been working with, besides I'm considered a leader."
