Borussia Dortmund have told Hull City to increase their offer for Delron Buckley.

The Tigers are keen on landing the 30-year-old South African after he impressed manager Phil Brown while on trial.

However, Hull's opening bid for the winger, who attracted interest from Everton in 2006, has disappointed Dortmund.

"It is not really what we are expecting," Dortmund's director of sport Michael Zorc stated.

Hull have been busy in the transfer market this summer following the arrivals of George Boateng, Bernard Mendy, Geovanni, Tony Warner and Peter Halmosi.
