Robinho: Ready to make impact
Robinho has set his sights on scoring a goal against Chelsea in his first match for Manchester City.
The Brazilian was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the summer before Manchester City came in with a late bid on deadline day.
He joined City for a British record transfer fee before jetting off to South America for a World Cup qualifier against Chile.
Robinho turned in a supreme performance as Brazil cruised to a 3-0 victory and he is now set to face Bolivia on Wednesday.
But the 24-year-old is already looking ahead to this weekend's clash against Chelsea and is determined to make an immediate impact.
Robinho is happy with his form and fitness and feels confident that City can pick up three points against Luiz Felipe Scolari's Blues.
"I was pleased with my performance and that of my team," Robinho told The Sun following Brazil's match with Chile.
"We have to use this as preparation and motivation for our game against Bolivia on Wednesday.
"I was tired at the end but I will be ready to face Chelsea.
"Everybody knows I expected to sign for them. But I am happy to be at Manchester City and my only thought is to help us beat Chelsea.
"I love playing and scoring for Brazil. Every time I play for the national team, I feel I become a better player.
"I was pleased to score against Chile and now I am determined to do the same against Chelsea.
"I want to score at least one goal."
