Arsene Wenger feels the quality currently tied up in the Arsenal treatment room bodes well for the future.

The Frenchman has led Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table four games into the new campaign, although they will lose that spot to Chelsea should the Blues beat Manchester United on Sunday.

A scintillating display of free-flowing football in a 3-1 win at Bolton saw them climb to the summit, with many first team regulars watching on from the sidelines.

Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie were rested and placed on the bench at the Reebok Stadium, while Samir Nasri, Tomas Rosicky, Eduardo and Mikael Silvestre remain out of action through injury.

Wenger believes the manner in which is side disposed of the Trotters proves Arsenal should be regarded as true title-challengers this term.

"I rested Walcott and Van Persie but you could see we had good players coming on," he said.

"You cannot play possibly 60 games with just 11 men. It is very important that you are fresh, especially if you play up front where every second is important.

"There is a lot of quality still at home if you consider Nasri, Rosicky, Silvestre and Eduardo are all injured."
