Yorke: Set for international action
Trinidad and Tobago are on a collision course with Sunderland after calling up Dwight Yorke.
The Caribbean island have already locked horns with the Black Cats in regards to the veteran midfielder, with that feud now set to be re-ignited.
Sunderland had previously recalled York from international duty while he was involved in World Cup qualifying action.
This move riled Fifa vice-president, and special advisor to the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation, Jack Warner.
He accused Roy Keane of being 'callous, mean and disrespectful', while the Irish coach responded by branding Warner 'a clown'.
Keane was understood to have taken the decision as he was unhappy at his player being asked to play two games in quick succession despite being yet to appear for his club after suffering a fractured cheekbone in pre-season.
However, he is now facing up to the prospect of losing Yorke for three international fixtures in the space of eight days.
T&T are set to face the Dominican Republic in a friendly on 8th October before a trip to Guatemala for a World Cup qualifier three days later and a home clash with the United States on 15th October.
