Huth: To visit specialist
Middlesbrough's Robert Huth will see a specialist on Monday to assess his ankle injury.
The defender missed his first game of the season at Wigan last week with ligament damage.
Boro insist the injury is not a recurrence of previous problems that have blighted the 24-year-old Germany international's time at the Riverside Stadium, but are seeking an expert opinion to get to the bottom of it.
Boss Gareth Southgate said: "Robert is going to see a specialist on Monday, and the situation will be clearer after that.
"All we know at the moment is that he has damaged his ankle ligaments."
Former Chelsea player Huth arrived on Teesside following a £6million move from Stamford Bridge in August 2006 after failing a medical and then undergoing surgery to cure an ankle problem.
He returned to fitness, but was then hit by a stress fracture of the foot.
Meanwhile, his team mate Julio Arca has returned to his native Argentina to consult a specialist over his ankle problem.
Southgate added: "Julio is still in Argentina and we are going to asses him further in the middle of next week."
