Cousin: Hailed Brown
Hull City striker Daniel Cousin has praised boss Phil Brown's positive attitude - saying it is bringing out the best in the Tigers.
The striker has scored three goals in nine Premier League appearances since his switch from Rangers to the KC Stadium on 1st September.
The latest came in Hull's 2-2 home draw with Manchester City last Sunday, a result which ended a run of three successive losses.
Hull were many pundits' favourites to go down this season but the Tigers sit in sixth place in the table and Cousin believes they can achieve a top ten finish.
The 31-year-old told the Daily Star: "It has been good to score a couple of goals recently because that is my job. I am hoping to score 10 or 12.
"I feel Hull can finish in the top 10 of the division.
"We have a good record away from home and that is because we like to attack. We have a real desire in the team to win matches. It is this that has got us to where we are.
He added: "Phil Brown is a great manager. He is very supportive, very open and very honest.
"He always has a smile on his face for us - even when things are not going so well, and this makes the players believe in themselves.
"In this division, there are good times and bad times, but I've every confidence Hull will stay up and finish reasonably high."
