Red Bull Salzburg hot-shot Marc Janko has underlined his desire to join a Premier League club.

The Austria international star is currently Europe's top goalscorer with 29 goals for the Austrian Bundesliga leaders and has just been named his country's Footballer of the Year.

Janko has reportedly been watched by several Premier League clubs in recent weeks, with Blackburn strongly linked with a January bid.

And the striker is confident he could master the step up in class.

"England is still my dream," Janko said in an interview with the Austrian Press Agency.

"There football is much more physical and quick. It is another world.

"Any player moving there needs some time to adjust, even top international stars.

"But at the end of the day quality always comes out on top and I'm confident I could manage it," he added.
