Diop suffers knee problem
Portsmouth are sweating over the fitness of Papa Bouba Diop after he picked up a knee injury in Sunday's defeat to Arsenal.
The giant midfielder suffered the injury after a tackle with Arsenal star Denilson and it is feared Diop sustained medial ligament damage.
On a bad day on the injury front for Tony Adams, Richard Hughes was forced off with a groin strain and the Pompey boss fears the midfield duo face a spell on the sidelines.
"We will know more about Papa and Richard Hughes in the next 24 hours or so, but it doesn't look good at the moment," Adams told the Portsmouth News.
"I thought Papa was immense in there. He is so powerful, but it looks like he has done his medial ligament so that's not too great for us.
"And Richard Hughes has done his groin as well, but I'll get on with it."
