Fulham midfielder Leon Andreasen has spoken of his desire to leave Craven Cottage in the transfer window just a year after signing for the club.

The Denmark international was signed for £2million in January last year from Bundesliga side Werder Bremen.

Andreasen has been left disappointed with his spell in West London having featured just five times off the bench in the Premier League this season.

The 25-year-old has attracted attention from German clubs Borussia Dortmund and Hannover with both clubs said to have been interested before he moved to Fulham.

"The manager prefers to play others instead, and I have to fully accept that," Andreasen told Danish paper DR Sporten.

"But then I expect from the manager that he doesn't block my future when I have the chance to further my career elsewhere.

"At the moment I would only be first team at Fulham if four players are suffering broken legs."

Meanwhile Hannover general manager Christian Hochstatter confirmed his club's interest in the player.

"Two years ago we were really keen on signing Leon from Werder Bremen and we went on monitoring his situation ever since," he explained to Ekstra Bladet.

"Leon is an interesting player and I can confirm that we have spoken with his agent, asking about Leon's current situation."

Despite Hannover's interest Andreasen may decide to hold out for a move to Dortmund where he would link up with former manager Jurgen Kopp.

Andreasen spent half a season on loan from at Mainz from Werder while Kopp was manager and the now Dortmund boss has remained an admirer.

The Dane would fit straight into the Dortmund side and act as perfect cover for injured captain Sebastian Kehl, who has yet to recover from an ankle injury picked up in November.
