Vidic: Backing Tevez
Nemanja Vidic insists Carlos Tevez is still focused on Manchester United despite all the speculation over his future.
Tevez, whose contract is owned by a company rather than another club, has admitted he expects to leave the Red Devils in the summer as his two-year loan deal is set to expire.
Sir Alex Ferguson insists the club are in talks to secure his future but the Argentina striker waved to the Old Trafford crowd on Saturday in an apparent farewell gesture when he was substituted in the second half.
United wrapped up their third successive Premier League crown - and 18th English title - with a 0-0 draw at home to Arsenal and will now turn their attentions to the UEFA Champions League.
Ferguson's men are up against Spanish giants Barcelona in the final in Rome on 27th May as they look to defend the title they lifted in Moscow 12 months ago to complete an unprecedented trophy quadruple.
Vidic is confident Tevez will continue to give his all for the club, although the South American was absent from the club's end of season awards at the Theatre of Dreams on Sunday evening.
Vidic told Sky Sports News: "There has been a lot of speculation in the media and the papers, but I don't know anything.
"I see Carlos in training and in the games where he gives everything for the team and for the club and in that respect his head is still here.
"We will see what will happen afterwards."
