Andranik Teymourian says he has not been given a 'convincing explanation' regarding his future after talks with Fulham boss Roy Hodgson and may consider leaving the club.

The Iran midfielder spent time on loan at Barnsley last season after failing to break into the Cottagers' squad following a move from Bolton in 2008.

Teymourian announced in April that he was determined to fight for a role at Craven Cottage, but he is still not certain of a place in Hodgson's plans.

The 26-year-old has discussed the issue with his manager, however, he is not happy with the outcome and could quit Fulham.

Offers

"I am not very pleased with my current situation. It seems that no matter how I train, it won't make a difference to my coach," he told PersianFootball.

"Unfortunately, I haven't been given any opportunities. In these circumstances, I might consider leaving Fulham.

"I care more about playing football than financial matters. I have discussed it with Hodgson but no convincing explanation was given."

Teymourian has received offers, with another loan move a possibility, but he has yet to make a decision.

"I had a few offers, but none of them were considerable. I now have to wait and see what happens."
