Skysports.com understands Bolton Wanderers want to sign Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara.

The Senegal international has slipped down the pecking order at Craven Cottage after his last campaign was disrupted by reconstructive surgery on a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson is reportedly prepared to listen to offers for Kamara and Bolton are tracking the former Portsmouth and West Bromwich Albion player.

Roma, Bordeaux, St Etienne and Malaga were credited with an interest in the 28-year-old over the summer, despite the forward stating he was content with Fulham.

Bolton, though, could look to secure a deal as manager Gary Megson is eager for attacking options following a disappointing start to the Premier League season.

Fulham are themselves short of strikers following injuries to the likes of Andy Johnson, but Hodgson is close to securing David Elm and Pawel Brozek.
