Honduran international Melvin Valladeres has returned home after spending two-weeks on trial with Tottenham.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, along with his coaches Clive Allen and Les Ferdinand, have been casting their eye over the 25-year-old who plays for Real Espana.

Valladeres was recommended to Spurs by his fellow countryman Wilson Palacios, and he travelled to England earlier this month.

He spent two weeks in North London and he is now back in Central America, hoping he has done enough to earn a move to England.

"It was a nice experience for me," he told La Tribuna.

"I feel happy because I think I did a good job, but now the last word is with Tottenham and I have to wait, whilst doing my best for my current side."
