Midfielder Tomas Rosicky has praised the strength in depth at Arsenal ahead of their game with Chelsea.

The Gunners go into the game eight points behind the Blues with a game in hand and will be looking to build on their midweek victory over Standard Liege in the UEFA Champions League.

Rosicky, who moved to Arsenal in 2006, has only made three starts in the Premier League so far this season after finally recovering from a long-term injury but is happy with how manager Arsene Wenger is rotating the squad.

The Czech Republic international feels the secret to success is relying on all members of the squad, and thinks the current crop of players at the Emirates Stadium are capable of great success.

"One of the main factors is definitely the quality of our squad," he told deniksport.cz.

"The team is great. What is also positive is that players from all positions are scoring goals.

"Gallas, Vermaelen and also midfielders. So we are not entirely dependant on one striker, which is very good.

"Guys like Bendtner and Walcott, who were beginning two or three years ago, are now maturing.

"It is obvious that we are playing in a different line-up every other game. The coach has been rotating the players a lot because he has a lot of options.

"I think we can profit from this as the season goes down to the wire. There will be no-one particularly exhausted and that can be the decisive factor."

Defeat

Arsenal went down 1-0 to Sunderland last weekend in the league, and Rosicky was not happy with the performance of the team.

But after the midweek win over Standard Liege, the 29-year-old believes confidence has been restored to the ranks.

"That was a match in which we did really poorly," he added. "It was good that we had the Champions League game soon after that one, as we could forget about it.

"We showed a good response and that it was a one-off failure. We were all right again against Standard and we are at ease going into the Chelsea game.

"It is clear that everyone is looking forward to the (Chelsea) match, because such big battles are always beautiful.

"It will be a big fight and I think that people should be looking forward to it very much."
