Emmanuel Eboue believes Arsenal will deliver an indication of their title credentials by defeating Chelsea, but is wary of the threat posed by Didier Drogba.

The Gunners welcome their London rivals to Emirates Stadium on Sunday in a vital battle at the top of the Premier League.

Ivory Coast defender Eboue is aware of the danger of international team-mate Drogba, but believes Arsenal have players of similar calibre.

He told skysports.com: "Chelsea are a very good team with so many good players, but we also have a lot of players who are on the same level.

"Drogba is my captain in my national team and for me he is the best striker in the world.

"He is on top because he has not had an injury this season and hopefully he will stay like that until June when we will have the World Cup."

Eboue is confident that Arsenal can bounce back against Chelsea after defeat at Sunderland in their last domestic outing.

He said: "We can win the game and I am confident we can announce our title credentials."
