Benni McCarthy's representative claims that Blackburn and West Ham have agreed a fee for the South African striker.

McCarthy has been keen to leave Blackburn and his representative has told Sky Sports News that an undisclosed fee has been agreed between the two clubs.

The 32-year-old, who has described a potential switch to Upton Park as a 'dream move', is now hoping to agree personal terms with the Hammers.

The former Ajax and Celta Vigo forward is ready for a fresh start having joined Blackburn from Porto for £2.5million in the summer of 2006.

He made a superb start in the Premier League, scoring 24 goals in his first season, before hitting 24 over the last two campaigns.

McCarthy has scored just four goals this term and has a total of 52 in 141 appearances for Rovers.
