Bridge: Mancini faith
Roberto Mancini has confirmed that Wayne Bridge will be considered for Manchester City's trip to Hull City.
The England defender has been out for two months with a knee injury he suffered in the 2-1 win over his former club Chelsea.
The 29-year-old left-back has since been caught up in allegations about England captain John Terry's private life.
Mancini has spoken with Bridge and feels that, despite the media storm, he is in the right state of mind to play at the KC Stadium, as well as being physically fit for a first-team return.
"Wayne can play on Saturday," said the Italian boss.
"He has been working with us for 10 days now and there are no problems."
Mancini was reluctant to discuss Bridge's personal situation for fear of dragging the matter out longer than necessary.
"The private side is not important," he added.
"He has been working very well on the pitch. That is what is important.
"He is a fantastic man and a fantastic player."
Bridge is set to come back in for Spanish defender Javier Garrido in the left-back spot.
