Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets believes World Cup winner Cesc Fabregas would be a valuable addition to the Catalan club.

Spain midfield ace Fabregas, who has five years remaining on his Arsenal contract, has been strongly linked with a move back to his boyhood club.

But the Gunners have already turned down a £30million bid from Camp Nou for their captain, and seem determined not to let the 23-year-old leave the Emirates.

"He (Fabregas) is a great player that would add a lot to the team," said Busquets.

"But we have to respect that he is owned by another club that is not Barcelona, that he is an Arsenal player and, for the time being, there's nothing to be done."
