Liverpools shameless antics in luring Barry leave a bad taste in the mouth.Blatantly leaking your interest to the press, getting Gerrard to speak out publicly and then clearly initiating Barrys interview with the NOTW.I hope Barry does go as he has made his position untenable. However I hope it is to a club who know how to conduct themselves.....a bit like Liverpool used to do. Equally aggravating is Liverpool fans arrogant belief that joining them is akin to going to Real Madrid. You are a poor fourth in a 2 horse race Liverpool fans.Face up to it !

What an idiot Scott Williams of Cardiff is....I mean, does he think he is the transfer Oracle? Torres to Chelsea? Get real, both owners and managers have slapped a "no sale at any price" on him and the man himself has accepted that his transfer to LFC was his becoming a player. Ok, so 1 season on we move him to a Premiership rival? That makes sense. Might be the way you do things in the LOWER LEAGUES, Scott, but in the top echelon, get your facts right, ok son? ok. By the way, Finnan as makeweight to Villa for Barry, who WILL come this summer, ( only 1 year left on his contract so he can walk to us for nowt next summer ) and Crouch to Pompey or maybe Spurs in deal Keane. Hilario? hilarious. Bentley? maybe, could do with him. Palacios? do me a favour, YOU LOT bid for him. Scott, son, stick to lower league.

Love the scatter gun approach of Scott Williams to transfer speculation. You'll get no more then 10% of those right fella, and that by sheer chance. "So and so seen here, so and so seen there...." Do me a favour.

Chelsea will end their interest in Robinho, if as expected, Milan accept their improved bid for Kaka. However they are also on the look out for another out and out striker after being told by Arsenal they have absoloutely no chance of signing Adebayor. Possible alternatives include Torres (£84mil), Pavlyuchenko (£12mil) and suprisingly Kenwyne Jones, if he can prove his fitness. Roy Keane would not stand in Jones' way if he wants to leave. Arshavin will NOT join Chelsea, but Barcelona. Leaving Chelsea will be Ivanovic (Juventus), Wright-Phillips (Spurs), Bridge (Sunderland), Pizarro (Cologne), Hilario (Liverpool) and Sidwell (Villa). The only two players that Man Utd will sign this summer are Huntelaar (£14mil) and Ribery (£31mil). Players on the way out include Fraizer Campbell (Wigan) and Saha (Blackburn). Arsenal will sign Nasri (£10mil), Bischoff (free), Crouch (£9mil) and Valencia from Wigan. On their way out will be Hleb (Barca), Adebayor (Barca) and Hoyte (Villa). Liverpool will end their interest in Gareth Barry and instead turn to the cheaper option in Wilson Palacios from Wigan. However Aston Villa will allow Barry to leave in January, but not to Liverpool. Liverpool will also sign David Villa or Robbie Keane as a replacement for Chelsea-bound Torres. However they swiflty ended their interest in Marcos Senna when he stated that he would like to remain at Villareal. Other players Liverpool will sign include David Silva OR David Bentley, but not both, and Hilario from Chelsea. Players on their way out include Benayoun (Blackburn), Finnan and Voronin (Santander) and obviously Torres to Chelsea. Other transfers will include: Diego Milito (Spurs); Darren Bent (Sunderland); Paul Robinson (Villa); Kevin Nolan & Alan Lee (Boro); Kris Boyd (Hull); Freddie Ljungberg (Fiorentina); Ronaldinho (Milan); Marcus Bent (QPR); Andy Johnson (Newcastle); James Milner (Villa); Daniel Cousin & Ched Evans (Cardiff).

Glad to hear barry is on his way. The player clearly wants to sign for the reds, and this is the type of players we need, someone who WANTS to bring title success to liverpool. I think bentley would be a great addition to the squad, and I can see him fitting into a 5-man midfield well on the right hand side, with the menacing babel on the left. Defences beware! Keane would be a good replacement for crouch. (Thanks for the goals peter, have a good time at pompey) Hope the new full backs do well, as finnan and riise were consistently good for a long time...i think rafa will keep pennant and benayoun as both are good squad players, and can offer something different compared to babel's direct pace and bentley's delivery...and gives kuyt an opportunity to play upfront and score some more crucial goals! voronin needs to go, I think rafa knows this. barry & bentley are proven quality players and are desperate for a taste of success with a big club, and will help the reds mount a title challenge. liverpool needs to spend big to compete with man utd, who are in my opinion, stil the team to beat. beat them, and you can win the league (with or without ronaldo!)

There is one overriding reason that Ronaldo will not go to Real Madrid yet - he is apparently not prepared to sign for them whilst Ruud van Nistelrooy is there (because of the problems he had with him on the training ground many times at ManU). Real would be happy to do an exchange to accomodate that but Manu are not interested in having Ruud back under any circumstances. This is from a very reliable colleague within Real.

Wow, if Barcelona did offer £30million for Adebayor, please let him go and make good use of the money to bring both Davids (Villa and Silva) in. Can't believe a player who just had a good season and start demanding for astronomical wages. Kinda remind me about Cashley Cole..and now its Cash-debayor

Bryan Saunders (Tottenham Hotspur fan) says...
Spurs have had the leading strike force for the last 2 seasons as well as the worse defence. Clearly Spurs are playing what i call the "seive" formation or 118. Both Keane and Berbatov will leave. I cant blame them - both are unbeleivable in quality and want to win things on a consistent basis. Spurs do not have a team which can do that. Ramos is clearly going for a massive clear out and rebuild. Whether he gets the necessary funds to do that remains to be seen. No one can replace either Keane or Berbatov and certainly not together. with the probable loss of Bent and the terrible loss of Defoe last season Spurs dont look like doing anything again this season. Meaning that the fantastic signings Ramos has already made are likely to go away again. Basically Spurs are not looking very healthy. I hope to be proved wrong but i doubt i will be im sad to say.
