Ryan Giggs is determined to avoid another loss against Celtic in the UEFA Champions League.

Manchester United beat Gordon Strachan's men 3-0 at Old Trafford last month but two years ago they were shocked by the Scots in the group stage game at Parkhead.

Shunsuke Nakamura's fabulous free-kick earned Celtic a 1-0 win and Giggs recalls the pain of defeat.

United travel to Glasgow on Wednesday and the Welshman believes experienced players such as himself must take responsibility and keep others composed.

United can book their place in the last 16 with a victory over Celtic and Giggs wants no mistakes.

"There was a feeling of disbelief in the dressing room after we lost," Giggs said in the News of the World.

"It is difficult not to get wrapped up in the white-hot atmosphere of these games.

"But that's where the older guys, myself included, and the manager comes in.

"We must make sure it doesn't happen again."
