Stewart: Set to stay at Hull
Skysports.com understands Hull City have agreed a deal with Manchester United to extend Cameron Stewart's loan until the end of the season.
Stewart has been quick to make an impact since moving to the KC Stadium last month and has impressed in his three appearances for the Tigers.
Manager Nigel Pearson was anxious to hold on to the teenage attacker, but was facing competition from Championship rivals Cardiff City and Leeds United.
However, it is understood that Stewart is set to remain with the Tigers for the remainder of the campaign and he is enjoying the chance to play regular first-team football.
"I'd love to stay beyond January playing as much first-team football as I can," the 19-year-old told the Hull Daily Mail.
"There's only so much you can learn in training, no matter who those players are.
"Any young lad needs to be playing games to develop. It's one thing playing reserve games but first-team football means so much more.
"You're out there trying to win three points and climb the table, every time you play it's a big deal. This is a big man's game."
