Stephen Hunt will not be offering Petr Cech any words of comfort when Reading clash with Chelsea on Wednesday.

"I have not spoken to him and I won't." Quotes of the week

The game sees Cech return to The Madejski for the first time since last October's accident that left the keeper with a fractured skull.

Hunt has not spoken with the Czech Republic shot-stopper since the coming together and will not be looking to make a fresh apology this week.

The uncompromising midfielder has moved on since the incident and is now looking for Reading to build on Sunday's impressive point at Manchester United.

"I have not spoken to him and I won't," stated Hunt in The Sun.

"That is not meant to be rude, it is forgotten now and we move on. I approach every game as normal.

"We will line up and shake hands, but that is it. I just look forward to the game.

"It was hard to deal with at the time and the manager left me out for a few games.

"But I came back and played well for the rest of the term."
