Steve Bruce says Jose Mourinho will be a huge loss not only to Chelsea but the entire Premier League.

Mourinho sensationally parted company with The Blues early on Thursday morning, with Avram Grant and Steve Clarke taking over.

Birmingham boss Bruce believes the Portuguese tactician will be sadly missed in English football.

"For me personally, I think he's been a breath of fresh air for the Premier League," Bruce told Sky Sports News.

"To win six trophies in three years, yes people will say he's had millions to spend but he's still got to manage them and get the best out of them and find a system, I think he's proved to be one of the all-time greats.

"I think the Premier League will be sad without him, he's always entertaining.

"I wish him well because he's obviously a very, very talented human being and a very talented manager."
