Drogba: Not happy
Didier Drogba is set to demand a move from Chelsea, according to reports in France.
The Ivory Coast star has become unsettled in West London following the departure of manager Jose Mourinho.
Last season's top-scorer in England has found Mourinho's departure hard to take, and now with Milan and Real Madrid circling, Drogba has admitted he cannot take life with Chelsea anymore.
"I want to leave Chelsea," he has told France Football - which will publish the full interview on Friday.
"Nothing can stop me from leaving now. Something is broken with Chelsea.
"The damage in the dressing room is big because we know now what happened and who caused Mourinho's departure."
Drogba insisted that no matter who Chelsea might sign next summer - he did not want to play for The Blues beyond this season.
"I know that Ronaldinho and Kaka are linked to come next season but even that won't change my mind," he continued.
Rumours of Drogba's unrest have been circulating ever since Mourinho's departure and his latest outburst would only seem to confirm that he does not have a long-term future at the club.
But despite the Ivory Coast international's apparent unrest, Chelsea insist that they expect him to stay at Stamford Bridge for the remainder of his current deal.
A statement issued by the club on their official website read: "Didier Drogba signed a new four-year contract last year.
"As a top professional we are sure Didier is committed to Chelsea and intends to honour that contract."

Well, I believe at this moment that Drogba is definately going to leave and his departure will be tied to two factors (1) Age - It is very usual that when players reach the his age, they tend to look elsewhere to ply their trade so as to add to their CV (2)Mourinho's exit - It is so certain that Drogba has a sincere heart for Mourinho and his exit must have affected him.

Oh well Drogba will be leaving............ Boring, Big players come and go all the time. He know's Chelsea can't compete in the big time and is using Jose's departure as a excuse. Hate to say it but the title will end up at the emirate's or old trafford this season and all the Chelsea squad know it will. Get on with it.

I am a Chelsea fan and would always be a Chelsea fan. I am going to keep this simple. I think that whatever has happened in the French media is being taken way out of proportion and it is not as serious as everyone is making it out to be. The way Drogba plays for Chelsea and how much passion he shows when he scores, shows he is Chelsea through and through. I will be very shocked if he leaves as shocked as i was when the special one Mourinho left. Drogba is a player that will be crucial in getting us up the table and i believe we will be their in about three or four games. Even if he leaves, i strongly believe that the likes of Lampard and Terry will never leave, they are players who are Chelsea and will be their for the rest of their careers.

Diddy is not a skilful striker, but a very important one for Chelsea. A never say die striker with a good understanding with his mates, many defenders fear his presence in the box. He has proved whether Chelsea fans like it or not that without him they will struggle for goals. However no one is irreplaceable, with time they will be a new hero and the team will move on.

Didier Drogba is a legend, i cannot believe that he is saying his love for the club has faded. I honestly believe that this article is rubbish. People know little about how amazing a person Drogba is. He is a legend back in Ivory Coast, he actually stopped a civil war, by speaking out against violence. If Didier goes, Lamps will go and others will follow. It is bad news, but at the end of the day, chelsea will go on with or without these players!

Drogba is a great player, if he leaves then there will be even more problems at chelsea and a few more main plaers will leave with him, he obviously doesn't have the love for the club anymore and there is no point him staying

If any player wants to leave a club, even one as important as Drogba is to Chelsea, then for the right price allow them to leave. Problem now is that contracts some players sign with their club ( for more money in a week than a ordinary person earns in one or two years, ) isnt worth the paper it is written on as when the player demand a move, even with 2/3 years left on their contract, they expect that move to happen. some could suggest they lack loyalty to their club, others will say they are simply football mercenaries only loyal to they own bank accounts, seems Drobga comes under the latter. Mourniho was a big lose to Chelsea, but Chelsea will go on without him, or Drogba, or anyone else that wants to leave,

I wondered how long it would take before this happened. This guy has talent. No doubt. But he's also temperamental. Chelsea go one down and he's either diving or moaning at the ref. He's the only 6 foot 3 footballer who goes down with a gust of wind. Now his old manager is away he wants to pick his ball up and go too. So much for loyalty to the Club and the fans eh?

I am very suprised that he is the only person thinking of leaving....Jose brought something special to chelsea and if players know why the coach had to leave im sure they will feel as if it could happen to anyone even if they are winning. I think that Avram Grant is a muppet and thats why they had to bring in another assistant coach. Its a joke and its going to be a big loss for Chelsea especially after no other strikers in the club knows how to score....

Despite the fact that I would love to see Drogba at Chelsea next season, if he really does want to leave the club, then the Chelsea hierarchy should just sell him. No player should be forced to remain at Chelsea, not even someone as important as Drogba. This statement made by Drogba is only the first; I fear there may be many more players willing to leave Chelsea, players who were at there best form during Mourinho's reign and whose loyalties to the club are clearly weaker than their loyalties to their former manager.

I have always admired Drogba, he has always been underrated and for the past seasons he has been at par and sometimes in better shape than Henry. The loss of the special on has affected him and if the conditions are not conducive for work, you quit. Chelsea will never be the same club it was without Morhrinho, but its to all Arsenal's gain. Gooner 4 life

As a Chelsea fan, I think as the old saying goes "there is no smoke without fire", Drogba, eventhough for those who may hate him for whatever the reason is a great player and has made Africa proud. His total contribution to a Chelsea Team that lacks a proven goal scorer is beyond comparison. Jose was like a father figure even though he owed his services to Chelsea FC, but let's not forget, the performance of a humanbeing and therefore a player has a lot to do with his well-being, money sometimes is not everything -let's give credit where it is due. Perhaps Abromavich should read Lord Owen's Hubris Syndrome

Sam Gilbert, I must disagree with you. I remember watching Drogba in Marseille in 2004 when they were challenging for the UEFA Cup, and he was spectacular. He was the most noticeable player in the match, and he seemed to be involved with every play, whether in his own end or the opposing end. He was fast, hard working, a leader, and a that bit of arrogance a player needs. I knew after seeing him for ten minutes that he would go to a big club and I was right, although extremely disappointed it had to be bloody Chelsea (better than Man U though, right). I welcome Didier to Arsenal with open arms and while he is no Henry, he could very well be the next best striker in the world. Poor poor Chelsea supporters, I hope you enjoy your couple years of glory and learned that money doesn't buy Championships, it only buys overrated Argentinians and Ukrainians

I've supported chelsea for many years now and can't really understand what is going on.The way things are now Chelsea are not even a football club now, they are a business. As for managing chelsea is there someone out there who can bring to Chelsea what Mourinho gave and that is success.

I think Drogba's decision is more to with his age & not departure of Jose.He is 29 right now & he would love to experience playing in different league before he ends his career, for that matter any player would like to do that.It is ok for Chelsea they will have one of the Barbatov or Eto'o next season, also with youngsters such as Ben Sahar,Miroslav Stoch waiting from youth team.

I think Chelsea's broad to blame not Didier Drogba or any other player , as Mourinho was not only a manager he was more than that for some the like of Didier Drogba who got used to his style. I think Chelsea needs too much time to recover from the below of Mourinho's departure no one right now can feel his shoe as most the people up to the job are doing well with thgeir teams

I dont believe this junk from the French Press. However, I do beleive that Drogba will leave Chelsea, along with a few more Chelsea players. Obviously, I do not want him to go, as this would be a big blow for us, but aslong as it is good for him - because maybe he is disturbed at Chelsea following Jose's exit. Don't believe anything till you see it happen!

As we all know Chelsea will never be the same club ( winning cups and titles ) I think Mourinho was the core or the rute of the success that Chelsea had been used too , and it will never be the same again I just hope that Mourinho will come back to manage maybe M.Utd or Liverpool,in the future and show to every one how special he was ( mainly to the Chelsea dirctors board )
