Ballack: Wants Wigan performance
Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack is hoping Wigan's stars do not go on holiday before their final game of the season against Manchester United.
The Blues need The Red Devils to drop points at The JJB as they have a superior goal difference over Avram Grant's side in the race for Premier League glory.
Chelsea maintained the pressure on the league leaders with a 2-0 success over Newcastle on Monday, although they still need help if they are to regain the title.
Wigan secured their top-flight status at the weekend with a 2-0 win at Aston Villa and Ballack is hoping they do not start thinking about a summer of sand and sea until the conclusion of the campaign.
"The pressure is on and I hope Wigan are proud enough to give everything in the last game," Ballack said.
"I remember when we played them at home they put four strikers on in the last four minutes to try something and I hope they do the same against Manchester United.
"I hope they are not on their holidays. They have secured their place in the league but they have enough time to celebrate before preparing for this game."
