Scolari: Ready to consider players

Luiz Felipe Scolari is preparing for a busy week as he looks to finalise his Chelsea squad before the close of the transfer window.

The Brazilian has already signed Deco since taking charge at Stamford Bridge and speculation has suggested there could be more high-profile arrivals before 1st September.

Kaka continues to be linked with a mega-money to the club, while Real Madrid have admitted they may let Robinho leave.

Scolari has been focusing on the start of Chelsea's Premier League campaign over the last couple of weeks but he now has some important decisions to make in what is likely to be a frenzied few days.

Speaking after Sunday's 1-0 victory at Wigan, Scolari said: "Tomorrow when I am back at the club I will discuss these things.

"It is important (to be focused) before a game. Last week we only talked about

Wigan but tomorrow I will talk about players.

"Tomorrow when I come into the club I will discuss this or that, who comes, who goes.

"First we finished the game. Now we get back to London and I start a new week."
