Chelsea winger Florent Malouda has set his sights on winning the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.

The Blues narrowly missed out on both trophies last season as Manchester United secured a domestic and European double.

Malouda, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Lyon last summer, is now keen to help Chelsea claim their first piece of silverware since his arrival.

The Frenchman has shown glimpses of his best form this term after being plagued by injuries in his first campaign with the club, and has recently scored against Bordeaux and Portsmouth.

He hopes to add more goals to his game, telling the club's official website: "It is always good to score, but they were in the Champions League and Carling Cup, now I would like to score in the league because I know it is really important for me.

"I won a lot of league titles in France and really want to win something in England. Chelsea were champions two times before I arrived and I really want to win the Premier League again."

Strength

Malouda feels Chelsea have the quality and strength in depth to be crowned champions of Europe next May after losing on penalties last season.

He explained: "I knew if I came here I had a great chance to be near the European title.

"With Lyon I reached the quarter-finals at best, last year we reached the final and unfortunately lost.

"But this time we hope to do our best, to reach the final and this time win it."

Malouda, who has not always been a regular starter, has also reiterated that he is happy with life at Chelsea.

"I feel very good, now I can say I am really back from injury because my knee is okay and I am really fit," he commented.

"I am happy, I always wanted to play for this club and win something here.

"Last year was my first in England, I had to adapt and now I feel I am really integrated in this team, the club and I feel like I have always been here."
