Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has refused to confirm whether the club have made a move for Sergio Aguero.

The Blues have a long standing interest in the young Argentine forward, with reports in recent weeks suggesting the club were ready to strike a £40million deal with Atletico Madrid.

But Ancelotti would again only confirm his liking for the 21-year-old.

"He is a young player and I said another time he is a young player, and the big teams in Europe usually control the market about all the young players and Chelsea look about these players, not just Aguero," Ancelotti told Sky Sports News.

"Young players are the future for Chelsea, Manchester every team in Europe."

Aguero scored two goals against Chelsea earlier this month, and that left a mark on Ancelotti.

"He scored two goals, I think good for him - not for me," he continued.

"I like Aguero - but I don't want to read tomorrow other things, I want to read I like Aguero."
