Riera: Wants silverware
Liverpool new boy Albert Riera is confident he has joined a club capable of challenging for honours across the board.
Riera completed an £8million move to Anfield from Espanyol before the transfer window closed and is already immersing himself in the Anfield outfit's winning mentality.
Rafa Benitez plans to employ the Spanish midfielder on the flanks to bring some added width to his squad, with Riera eager to secure more silverware on Merseyside.
He said: "At Liverpool the most important thing is when you are on the pitch to think only about winning.
"It is important to fight for everything - to fight to win the Premier League, the Champions League and the two cups.
"I am sure we will enjoy fighting for all of these titles.
"We want to challenge for everything until the last minute of the last game.
"I want to be in finals and to challenge for the Premier League as well because for this club it is very important to challenge for the league."
