Hertha Berlin striker Andriy Voronin has revealed that he is keeping quiet over his long-term future.

The 29-year-old is on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season and the Bundesliga outfit are said to be keen on making the deal permanent.

The Ukraine international's ten goals in 19 league games, including a hat-trick in his last outing against Energie Cottbus, have helped fire Hertha four points clear at the top of the table.

But with rumblings over his long-term future refusing to go away Voronin has decided to let his representatives do the talking from now on.

"I am not going to say a thing about this anymore," he told Sport-Bild having revealed earlier in the week that he wanted Hertha to make a decision on signing him permanently before the end of the month.

"I just know that (Dieter) Hoeness (Hertha general manager) and my agents are involved in negotiations.

"I want to make sure I am focused on my job."

A possible stumbling block could be the former Bayer Leverkusen ace's asking price with Liverpool rumoured to want around £9million for the frontman, leaving Hertha needing to raise funds if any deal is to go through.
