Ljungberg: Inside information

Freddie Ljungberg has provided his manager Alan Curbishley with the inside track on former club Arsenal, ahead of Saturday's clash with West Ham.

Having swapped North London for East London in the summer, Ljungberg is the ideal candidate to help prepare his team-mates with regards Arsenal's strengths, and potential weaknesses.

Thus far this term Arsenal have been imperious in their football but Curbishley admits that, armed with his player's info, he heads into the Upton Park fixture from a positive mindset.

Not invincible

"I don't think anyone goes into a game against them thinking they are invincible," said Curbishley.

"Fulham were leading with a few minutes to go, Blackburn took a point and Manchester City were only beaten 1-0.

"We are aware of the things we can do and Arsenal like to do.

"We've had a chat with Freddie about one or two things over there."

Skipper Lucas Neill added: "He will be useful in preparation, to give everyone an idea of movements and things like that. But it's difficult to summarise Arsenal's style because they play what they see."
