Arsenal have received a warning over the fitness of Tomas Rosicky from the team doctor of the Czech Republic.

The Czech midfielder could be available for his country's Euro 2008 qualifier with Germany on Wednesday, despite suffering on-going groin and thigh injuries this season.

Rosicky made only 22 appearances for Arsenal last season as he struggled with muscular problems after moving to Emirates Stadium from Borussia Dortmund in May 2006.

Now the Czech's team doctor, Pavel Kolar, has warned Rosicky's problems will continue if the appropriate correctional work is not performed.

Injury

"Tomas has an imbalance of his muscle structure," Kolar told MF Dnes.

"In my opinion, this plays a big role in his injuries. Some of his muscles work more and are more developed whereas others are not.

"The problem is in the coordination of muscles which Tomas uses. Muscles on the rear side of his thigh are enormously strained, it is a matter from his childhood."

Kolar insists exercises will cure Rosicky's problems, but he believes Arsenal are not at the same level as other European clubs regarding medical expertise.

Prevention

"It is a task for at least three to five months," Kolar added. "But it depends how frequently he turns to the exercises.

"I think that in England medical prevention is not at such a level as in Germany.

"At Arsenal it is not at such a level as it is for example in other European clubs.

"Tomas must do the exercises on his own. Perhaps it would be better if Arsenal knew about his problems but I don't solve this. It is Tomas' personal thing."
