Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that his side's display against Birmingham City was their 'lowest' performance at home of the season.

The Gunners were far from their best against Alex McLeish's men, and had to settle for a 1-1 draw after Garry O'Connor cancelled out Emmanuel Adebayor's first-half penalty.

And Wenger has expressed his disappointment at the display, bemoaning The Gunners' lack of inventiveness in the final third.

"We dropped two points that we shouldn't have dropped," he told Sky Sports.

No spark

"I felt that we were caught by the feeling that it would be easy to win the game - and we lost our focus.

"We were not focused on a corner and we got caught. Credit to them, they defended very well.

"We were not at our best. It is certainly the lowest level [at home that] we have played this season.

"The crowd was fantastic and always behind the team, but despite that we did not find the spark or the tempo.

"We are disappointed that we dropped two big points."
