Winterburn: very impressed
I believe Arsenal are on the edge of greatness and it will come for them.

Quotes of the week
Ex-Arsenal left back Nigel Winterburn told Sky Sports News that the Gunners are on the edge of greatness.
Following the Gunners' emphatic 2-0 victory over AC Milan at the San Siro, Winterburn believes that Arsene Wenger's team can go on to win either the Premier League or the Champions League this season.
"A lot of questions have been asked of Arsenal throughout the season," said Winterburn, "and a lot of people didn't expect them to challenge for the Premier League, and certainly not for the Champions League.
"Every time they have had a little blip people started to say 'oh Arsenal have started to fall by the way side.
"They've come back a lot stronger and they did that again last night because a lot of people were writing them off.
"After this win, maybe the doubters will stop a little bit.
"It was an absolutely fantastic performance. I said after the first leg that if Arsenal could play with the same tempo and move the ball around as they did against Milan at the Emirates, particularly in the second half, then they would cause them problems at the San Siro.
"And that's exactly what they did. With Fabregas coming back to top form last night Milan just couldn't live with him.
"They were sensational last night and 2-0 was a fantastic result for them."
The former number three, part of the famous Arsenal back four of the late 80's and 90's, praised two of the Gunners' young stars for their performances in Milan.
"This season Fabregas has added goals to his game. He's the player that makes everything happen. He links up the play for Arsenal, when he is in top form they flow and we saw that last night.
"Wenger brought on Theo Walcott right near the end of the first leg and he was the one who provided the cross for Adebayor who hit the bar in injury time, and again Arsene Wenger brought him on and he's used his pace again.
"I think it frightened Milan."
Winterburn believes that knocking the holders out, at their home ground, and becoming the first British team to do so makes this the greatest European victory for the Gunners.
"Milan just couldn't live with Arsenal," continued Winterburn. "When I think of Champions League in recent history, I think of AC Milan.
"Personally I think it's the best performance. There have been some terrific performances by Arsenal in the Champions League of late, but Milan have great pedigree and to go there and become the first English team to win there and dominate them was just fantastic.
"I believe Arsenal are on the edge of greatness and it will come for them."
