Alexander Hleb's agent admits that the midfielder feels privileged to be linked with Real Madrid.

The Arsenal midfielder is rumoured to be on his way out of Emirates Stadium this summer, with Real joining Internazionale in the race for his signature.

The Belarusian has enjoyed a successful three-year spell with the Gunners, but could be ready for a new challenge after failing to secure any major honours during his time in England.

His playmaking capabilities should ensure that he would fit seamlessly into any side in the world, and his representative Uli Ferber has made it clear that the Santiago Bernabeu would be an ideal arena in which to showcase his talent.

"For any player in the world it is always a great honour that a club like Real Madrid is interested in him," Ferber told Spanish newspaper AS.

"This confirms the good work that Hleb has been doing in these last few years that he is being recognised by one of the greatest clubs in the world.

"Nobody should have any doubts that the interest from Madrid is a privilege for the player."
