Fenerbahce boss Luis Aragones has dismissed suggestions that Arsenal are an unstoppable attacking force.

Fenerbahce are currently bottom of UEFA Champions League Group G with one point from two games while they are also in mid-table in the Turkish league.

There have been suggestions ahead of Tuesday's clash with Arsenal that Aragones' job could be under threat but he has refused to comment on the stories.

"I only want to talk about work, I will not consider resignation," Aragones has been quoted as saying in the local media.

Aragones, who stepped down as Spain coach after Euro 2008 to come to Fenerbahce, remained tight-lipped at his pre-match press conference when asked how important Cesc Fabregas was for Arsenal.

"Luis Aragones has chosen not to answer," came the response from the interpreter.

Defensive

Arsenal have a reputation for playing an expansive style of football but Aragones believes they can sometimes be quite defensive.

"In some of the games I have seen there are nine players behind the ball and they play with one up front and five midfielders," he explained.

"They don't play as attacking football as you say.

"But I am only concerned about my own team and not the opposition's at this stage."

Aragones accepts that Arsenal are perhaps the strongest team in a group which also includes Porto and Dynamo Kiev, but believes home advantage could prove crucial in Tuesday's contest.

He said: "We are going to play possibly the best team in the group.

"That is why our fans have to build a good platform for us."
