Arsenal defender Johan Djourou does not believe Arsenal's failure to top UEFA Champions League Group G will damage their chances of claiming European glory.

The Gunners' loss at Porto on Wednesday night ensured the Portuguese club claimed pole position, meaning runners-up Arsenal could now face the likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the next round.

However, Djourou, who has enjoyed a decent run in the side of late, has pointed to the high standard of all opponents that have qualified for the knock-out stages.

The Switzerland international said on Uefa's official website: "I don't think it matters.

"When you get through to the last 16 they're all great teams, so I don't think there's anyone in particular we want to avoid.

"We're disappointed with the result, but we're already through. We controlled the game well from the start, but we didn't do enough in the final third.

"When you play a team like Porto it's not enough to dominate without scoring."
