Yaya Toure has confirmed he plans to remain at Barcelona, following reports linking Arsenal with a bid for his services.

Toure has been mooted as a potential Gunners target in the January transfer window after the Ivorian recently claimed he spoke with manager Arsene Wenger in the summer.

The powerful 25-year-old had also previously hinted at his frustration at Camp Nou after struggling for regular first-team football at the beginning of the season.

However, Toure - whose brother, Kolo, plays for Arsenal - has emerged as a key figure for Barca of late and has now announced he is committed to the Spanish giants.

He said in El Mundo Deportivo: "I know of Arsenal's interest but I insist I have no desire to seek an exit.

"The rumours will not affect my game. My head is with Barcelona. There are no doubts."

Barca technical secretary Txiki Begiristain added: "We are not predicting any exits or arrivals in January."
