Adil Rami has shrugged off reported interest from Liverpool and AC Milan by insisting he wants to stay with Lille for another season at least.

The 23-year-old defender has been linked to the English and Italian giants after consistent performances in Ligue 1 last term.

But the powerful central defender believes he still needs to learn his trade in French football before he contemplates a move away.

He told France Football: "I have only played in Ligue 1 for two years and I believe I need to play one or two more seasons in France.

"I will be delighted to achieve the same season I had last term at LOSC."
