Fabregas: Wanted man
Cesc Fabregas has reiterated his desire to win trophies at Arsenal, but also admitted that he does not know what the future holds.
The Gunners captain is currently away on international duty with Spain where fresh rumours have surfaced regarding the 22-year-old.
Reports in Spain suggest that Sandro Rosell, a former executive of sportswear giants Nike, wants to use Fabregas as the figurehead of his bid to become the new president at Barcelona, with Joan Laporta set to step down at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Spanish newspaper AS also ran an article claiming that Real Madrid were ready to launch their own bid for the former Barca youngster at the end of the season.
The midfielder refused to be drawn on the speculation and insists that he doesn't look too far into the future.
"Now I am very calm and without injuries," he told Spanish radio station Onda Cero.
"At Arsenal I am developing a good season and my dream is to win titles there.
"Still, I don't think about my future. I'm focussed on the short term and don't look beyond that.
"I have a great responsibility to my club and now is not the time to think beyond that."

good man! focused on winning the title and champions league with arsenal should be on your mind. I'm sure he doesn't want to be an amazing player, only be there for a few seasons and not win anything because he left to Spain. He'll win trophies with arsenal before even thinking about leaving!

As a football lover i think it would be a real shame to let one of the best players in the Prem League to leave, he has shown flare and consistancy over many years now and he really does stick to his word. Best of Luck Cesc

It seems he gets less confident about staying with Arsenal every interview.. I'm hoping wenger has someone in mind for next year or we could end up like man utd without ronaldo.

all this talk of being brought out and Fabregas staying or going is doing my nut!!!! if we get brought out by Kronke then money will be injected plus if Fab does go then Wenger should get players plus cash for him from either Barca or Madrid, and with Ramsey looking to be the next Fabregas as the papers say and the players we'd get for Fabregas and cash and cash from Kronke then wenger is surely gonna buy a named brand striker like Villa, Huntellar, or even Eto'o whatever happens we will be sweet as a nut if Fab stays even better!!!!

It seems there is little popular music or current affairs in Spain of recent. All there seems to be on the radio is continued farcical speculation surrounding Premier League footballers. I for one, am Sick of this garbage filling up my Arsenal inbox. Fabregas has time-and-again reiterated his commitment to the Gunners with an understandable dream of playing for his home club later in the future. He's 22; give the guy some time. He's still improving and doubtless will only leave Arsenal when he has achieved necessary success. Our talisman is going nowhere - and focusing on the 'short-term' is what is best for this team (not a bidding invitation).

Time to cash in at the end of the season! £50mill is a good price for the best midfielder in the world and another master piece of business from Wenger! With the likes of Ramsey/Song/Diaby/Denilson/Nasri already at the club we are not exactly a whole lot weaker. With the cash bring in Zapata/Van der Wiel/Inler/Hazard. Players out: Silvestre/Senderos/Eboue/Clichy/Cesc/Rosicky. The future is Lukasz/Djourou/Gibbs/Vermealen/Song/Ramsey/Denilson/Diaby/Nasri/Wilshere/Fran/Walcott/Bendtner/Vela. Experience of Sagna/Gallas/Arshavin/Van-persie/Eduardo. Add the new players and it is a very string squad!!!!

this is fabregas's way of forcing his exit in the future by using the tactics of cristiano ronaldo. its only a matter of time until he leaves, then we will replace him. 'cristiano fabregas,' theyre all disloyal

Here we go again more stories about Ces lets hope he stays put for this season and not try to predict the future he's a great player and it's easy to see why other teams want him.

What a surprise. Cesc goes away on international duty with Spain and the stories about his impending departure from Arsenal begin to flare up again. The bloke has reiterated his desire to stay at the club countless times now so why both printing these garbage stories from Spain? Cesc will stay beyond next season I can guarentee it. Move on.
