Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists he is not worried by winger Theo Walcott's lack of form.

The England international is currently working his way back to full fitness as a succession of injuries have limited his availability this season.

The former Southampton ace has been restricted to just five starts this season and failed, as yet, to show his true ability.

Wenger is not panicking over Walcott's slow progress, insisting the 20-year-old must be given more time and games to show his best form.

Not worried

"I am not worried about Walcott," he told the club's official website.

"What you can't expect from Walcott at the moment is what he cannot give you.

"He needs some time to play and come back to full fitness. He has only played a few games this season.

"If he stays injury-free now, he will have a good end of season. But at the moment he is not completely himself."
