Pienaar: Eyeing top-four finish
Steven Pienaar has backed his Everton team-mates to claim a top-four finish in the 2008/09 season.
In the past five campaigns, The Toffees are the only club outside of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United to have finished in the top four in the Premier League.
David Moyes' side came close to claiming UEFA Champions League football last term but faltered in the latter stages with Liverpool eventually landing fourth place.
But Pienaar, who signed permanently at Goodison Park from Borussia Dortmund in April, is convinced Everton can repeat their previous achievement of breaking up the 'big four' in the forthcoming campaign.
"I am quite happy with my first season," the South Africa international told Sky Sports News.
"If we work hard again then nothing is impossible. We can get into the top four."
