Yobo: Set for new contract
Everton defender Joseph Yobo is in line for a new deal at Goodison Park.
Yobo has established himself as a key member of David Moyes' side since his arrival at the club from Marseille in 2002.
The 28-year-old still has over two years to run on his current contract, but Everton are ready to reward him with a new five-year deal.
Everton boss Moyes recently admitted his desire to keep the Nigerian international and Yobo's agent John Shittu has revealed a deal is close to being agreed.
"Joe loves Everton and he is happy at the club so the negotiations have been straightforward," Shittu told KickOffNigeria.com.
"This is possibly his last major contract and it is important for us to see that he is well taken care of.
"Fortunately, the club are also happy with him and really want to keep him so there is agreement both ways."
