Bruno KO'd for Bolton

BRUNO N'GOTTY'S appeal against a three-match suspension has been rejected by an FA disciplinary panel.

The Bolton Wanderers defender tried to overturn a red card decision he received in the Premiership clash against fellow strugglers West Bromwich Albion.

The French defender was controversially sent off by referee Mike Riley following an alleged elbow on Jason Roberts.

TV replays suggest that there was no intent on the defender's part, evidence that manager Sam Allardyce thought would help overturn the verdict.

However, the FA committee upheld Riley's original decision and the former Milan and Marseille player will now miss The Trotters` matches against Chelsea, Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers.
