Megson: Preparing for Stoke visit

Promoted Stoke City are the first visitors to the Reebok Stadium after the 2008-09 fixtures were revealed.

Gary Megson's men also welcome newly-promoted West Brom in August as the Trotters look to improve on last season's 16th placed finish.

Lancashire rivals Blackburn visit the Reebok Stadium on 18th October with the return fixture at Ewood Park taking place on 28th January.

Daunting trips to Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge take place on 27th September and 11th April respectively, with a final day fixture at Manchester City awaiting on 24th May.
