Football League new boys Aldershot Town have completed the loan signings of Ben Starosta and Scott Davies.

Starosta arrives on a one-month loan from Sheffield United, while Davies has rejoined the Shots on a season-long deal from Reading.

Blades midfielder Starosta has yet to make a first-team appearance at Bramall Lane, but spent spells on loan at Bradford City and Brentford last season.

He links up with Gary Waddock's side for the next month, with a view to earning a permanent contract.

Davies is back with Aldershot after scoring 10 goals in 29 Blue Square Premier appearances for the club last term.

The midfielder is still to make his Reading debut, but recently agreed a new deal at the Madejski Stadium.
