Leeds boss Simon Grayson has bolstered his defensive options with the addition of Reading's Sam Sodje on a month's loan.

Grayson was keen to have another defender at his fingers tips after Rui Marques tweaked a hamstring in last weekend's 3-2 win at Crewe.

Lubomir Michalik had been favourite to feature against MK Dons this weekend, but the Slovakian defender has made just four appearances for Leeds since the turn of the year and has struggled for form.

Former Charlton stopper Sodje, who has the option of staying with Leeds for the rest of the season, has not played a lot of football this term either. His only Championship appearance came for Watford in a 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United last September.

Either way, if Marques misses out against Roberto Di Matteo's side at Elland Road this weekend Grayson now has the option of selecting Michalik or Sodje in the Angolan's absence.
