Sky Sports will broadcast Middlesbrough v Sheffield Utd as the first live Coca-Cola Football League match of the new season.
The match, which kicks-off at 8pm on Friday, August, will be the first of up to 80 live Coca-Cola League games to be shown on Sky Sports this season, including the Play-Offs and all three finals from Wembley.
The 2009-10 season is the first of a new three-year agreement with the Football League.
In consultation with the Football League, Sky Sports has today announced 11 live matches featuring 18 different clubs over the first two months of the season. Further live matches will be announced as they are confirmed.

Newcastle United v Reading - Newcastle first live showing as a Football League club on Sky Sports on Saturday, August 15.
Peterborough United v Crystal Palace - Promoted Posh entertain Neil Warnock's Palace at London Road on Saturday, August 29.
Charlton v Brentford - Charlton, in the third tier for the first time since 1981, meet the Bees for a London derby at the Valley on Saturday, September 5
Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday - The Steel City derby from Bramall Lane on Friday, September 18.
Also in August, Sky Sports will screen two live games from the First Round of the Carling Cup with Darlington v Leeds on Monday, August 10 and Bury v West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday, August 11.

The 2009-10 season heralds a new agreement for live UEFA Champions League coverage on Sky Sports including additional matches from the Qualifiers and Group Stages of the competition
Sky Sports live football line-up will also include; 92 live games from the Premier League; live ties from the Carling Cup and Scottish Cup; live international football including home World Cup Qualifiers for Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales; plus South American qualifiers including Argentina and Brazil live. Live matches from Northern Ireland's Carnegie League are also showcased live.
